Property was old and all areas were cramped. Room was only just big enough for a double bed with not much room on each side. Very small room indeed. On the plus side - the shower was good.

Very good budget option, good value, check in good

Overall an excellent stay, room was good so was check in including accommodating dogs. I have scored low on service mainly because of the overnight porter/reception attendant. Twice on leaving and entering the hotel to let dogs relieve themselves including 5am there was absolutely no acknowledgement to our greeting to him or even eye contact to either my partner or myself which we both felt was rude and not very good for customer service. The other staff at check in and morning breakfast were nice and friendly which perhaps made his attitude stand out more. Another positive was despite the hotel being very busy our room was extremely quiet and we slept well
