The food: not much choices, cold eggs, no ready made oatmeal. Luck of elevator for people after 70 was really not easy to get to 4th floor. Poor internet service
Great location and quiet.
However the room was very dated and tatty. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and care hadn't been taken to the room.

Perfect location and great service from the front desk. Charming old building with history, which does mean floors are creaky and noise travels. We were woken early from neighbouring bedrooms but that was to be expected in an old building like this.
This property is an overall great find and exceptional value. It is a bit dated and the breakfast options are limited but surely a good start to the day. The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. The location is fantastic and a short walk to the city shops and restaurants.
Traditional French hotel well located in Beaune. Staff were helpful and efficient, the room was clean, but the breakfast was very disappointing, meagre offering and quality was low (warm yoghurts and cold pastries), expect more from a hotel of this standard.

Liked: Room comfort
Nice but could easily be better
The room was comfortable and suitable considering it is an old building. It is looking somewhat tired and consequently does not look clean although in the main it was.
Breakfast was mediocre with no staff present to ask for things when we came down - no coffee, butter, fruit and limited cheese 3 small pieces left. When a member of staff did appear only said hello and cleared away tables used. We had to use saucers as plates as there were not any on the table or food service area. These little things detract from the overall experience

Convenient parking and good location. An historic building - claimed to be boutique - but in reality pretty ramshackle and quite run-down.
Nice, cute building! The room overlooks the breakfast area and is clean and comfortable.
The reception greeting was friendly and helpful.
Close to the centre and restaurants and bars.
Breakfast was laid out for 0800, a small selection but enough for me and really fresh.
This hotel was fantastic, such an enjoyable stay. The rooms were extremely well kept in a traditional style, and the breakfast, well, I’ll not let the cat out of the bag, but it is a must.
I would recommend to anyone, and the town in breathtaking.
You get what you pay for. Everything in our room was falling apart. The whole mixer tapped turned when turning, the shower head was broken, bedside lights didn’t work. They also tried to charge for breakfast despite being told when we checked it was included. I said I thought it wasn’t - but the man at reception insisted it was.
It’s very run down. Best to pay more and stay elsewhere as Beaune has some lovely hotels. We were there at the end of a very long European trip and admittedly it was by a long chalk the cheapest place we stayed. However I do not see why cheap should mean bad, Breakfast was rather hilarious. Minimal offerings and I had go to the hotel next door (owned by the same people) to ask for bread - which was effectively the total sum of the breakfast which at €15 a head was a joke. You could go to one of the nearby cafes and pay that for something much much better.
We loved everything about it from the warm, welcome to our cozy room and the delicious breakfast
Hotel location decoration are recognized. Highly recommended. We will be back.
