When we were checking in, staff was outside smoking with some of the residents. Understandable, since you can't smoke inside.The staff don't wear uniforms, but was nice. A cute cat was in the lobby. The breakfast is just eggs and hashbrowns. Went to a function to get back and find out the elevator was down and we were on the 3rd floor. The staff was helpful with making the transition to the 1st floor. The room was clean. Seen a dead roach, better than alive I guess...seems room may have been exterminated. Overall, a good stay...somewhere to lay our heads.

only one star because the property was a quite location other than that it isnt a good location. A lot of crack and homeless people and bad area in general.....NOT KID OR FAMILY FRIENDLY Beds are hard as rock bed frames stick out, floors were dirty sticky,only one big towel, eggs are rock hard so breakfast didnt save me money......there was NO WORKING WI-FI even when i called front desk it wasnt fixed .... charged me $30 for a hand towel used to clean up my childs mess....old elevator was messing up often safety hazard

Overall what makes an excellent stay is how comfortable the bed is and if the television works. This hotel had neither. I have stayed in other Sonesta properties and they were excellent. I will not be returning to this one and will not recommend my family nor friends stay.

I really enjoyed my stay and I had a far more comfortable stay than I thought I would. The staff at night were very cordial and had excellent manners. The staff in the morning was a little rude but not too bad. I would say WHY would you want to end breakfast at 9am? Most places do 10. That's the only issue I have. Other than that excellent hotel.
