The room was gross and dirty with stained sheets and towels. The whole floor smelled of a musty odor, we tried spraying in our room to help a little. We arrived at almost midnight with two kids , we traveled into Beaumont and had been on the road for hours, if we didnt have the kids we honestly would of slept in the car instead. But we just needed to get a few hours of rest. We all slept sitting up, not using the cover sheets or pillows . The elevator smelled as well and was dirty , we realized the whole hotel is just not maintaining standards. Our check in lady was nice but in the morning there was some rude staff. We will never risk staying at a La Quinta again.

Room tv remote in 318 does not change channels to watch a show from the guide. It needs an update. Very frustrating when you have to go to every channel in order to get what you want. Also heater said to use wall thermostat. None exist. We changed rooms. Thank you front desk.

This hotel is in bad need of renovation. There were holes in our wall where pictures used to hang. The mirror in bathroom was chipped around the frame. The entire hotel smelled damp and musty. Staff was friendly and breakfast was just ok. The waffle iron timer was broken so you had to guess and it could be raw or burned. Only the ice machine near the lobby worked, the ones on 2nd and 3rd floor were broken. Very disappointed overall as La Quinta is usually one of our favorite places to stay but I would not stay at this one again.
