The Front Street House - Best Views in Town!

The old Safrit Family Home is now one of the most beautiful locations to spend your vacation this year. We don't label it "The Best View In Town" for nothing. Over looking Taylors Creek, 1st Deep Creek and Carrot Island, the views are amazing. Everday there will be the chance to see the ponies making their way down the island, grazing as they go.
Inside, the house has a large kitchen with a comfortable den and dining room accompanying it. With two bedrooms downstairs and three upstairs, there will be plenty of space to spread out. Both floors have sitting areas with views all the way out to Shackleford Banks. The master bedroom upstairs has its very own den with a private bathroom. On a clear night you can see the Cape Lookout Light's beaming out to guide the ships around the point.
The house is very close to downtown Beaufort where you will find plenty to do. Whether you are looking for a variety of dining establishments or out for a shopping spree, we have it covered with Historic Downtown Beaufort. Don't forget the activities after dark when live music can be heard from several different locations around town.

Friend weekend in Beaufort

We had a great time in Beaufort and really enjoyed the house. There were 5 of us and we could have added several more...plenty of room for everyone! The front porch, by far, is the best feature! We enjoyed many morning and nights out there enjoying the view. Super convenient to bars, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely stay again!!

Relaxing retreat

This property was a wonderful location to enjoy for our extended girls weekend. From waking up to the view of horses on Carrot island to the spectacular sunsets from the dock, beauty surrounded us allowing all of our everyday cares to melt away. The town was just a short walk away to enjoy great dinners and the Maritime Meseum. Your time will be well spent in Beaufort.

Beautiful views!

Our entire family spent Easter weekend in this beautiful historic home. We watched ponies graze and dolphins play in the water. The owner was very quick to respond when the Ac broke. The unit could not be replaced over the weekend so they brought window units to keep us cool. The only reason I do not give the house 5 starts is because the beds are small and very hard! Next time I would bring a mattress topper. Beautiful home in a great location!

Wonderful house and view

This is a charming house with an amazing view. The double porches are perfect for relaxing and you can see Shackleford and hear the ocean from the top porch! There is plenty of room to spread out, or spend quality time together with the cozy living room right off the kitchen. My favorite room is the wood paneled sitting room off the master bedroom that is full of windows looking out on Taylors Creek, Carrot Island and Shackleford. This made for a perfect family getaway and we will definately come back to this special spot.
