The room was not clean and front desk staff did not respond when we asked him to address this. We gave up and did it ourselves; not fun cleaning a disgusting bathroom when staying at a resort! Also, TV and phone were not operational and nearly all food containers were empty an hour before breakfast ended.

Checked in last almost 11PM or 12AM the women at the desk had signed out waiting for her relief. She took me back to the cabana type room separate from the main building HOWEVER... It was VERY cold for SC in the 30's and the room had mini-split heating system which I thought she had put on or that they were automatic...The long and short is that we FROZE that night. It was so bad we got up and just left instead of walking around town. Someone should of had that heat working. Other then that it was wonderful

Nice layout of buildings around courtyards. The breakfasts were very good. The room price was fair. The room we had could use new carpeting and new television (worst TV and remote I've had in any hotel). The female front desk staff were good, especially the blonde lady. Phenomenal check in! We were in a pinch for parking, and the front desk attendee , helped us out immensely. Very courteous and very professional. Our room was beautiful, appointed with period architecture. The only drawback I would note was the television was “standard definition“, it’s hard to get used to that after seeing high definition for many years. 😵‍💫 Wonderful experience —if we’re ever in the area again, we will definitely come back here.
