Me and my sister just came out for a few days to visit Death Valley National Park and the hosts made us feel like we were at home. Also it is such a serene property that helps one escape the hustle and bustle of city life (at least where I’m coming from). Would definitely stay there again! Also very friendly pets on property!

Jennifer and Nigel are absolutely the best bed and breakfast hosts in the industry! They are organized, kind, gracious and a lot of fun! Our delicious hot breakfasts both mornings were the perfect start to our days exploring Death Valley National Park. Shady lady is a hidden gem for those looking for a place with character and soul and great hospitality and quaint rooms. It’s a breath of fresh air from the usual sterile motel 6 experience. If you like animals, there are cats and dogs and peacocks, yes peacocks! And not too far from death Valley.

Clean room, bed is very soft, cute atmosphere, Nigel was very helpful and attentive, Erica provided an excellent breakfast. We didn't use the heart shaped hot tub as it looked too difficult to get in and out of. Was on our bucket list since 2017. Lot of history.
