The staff member who was on duty Friday evening was very attentive and sympathetic. She invited us to stay warm in the lounge while we waited for our room to be opened. On two different occasions (check-in and after going out for a few hours) my room code didn’t work :(. Thankful for a nearby gas station for bathroom access. Sorry, but we can’t recommend the foam mattresses. One sink the cold water faucet didn’t work. We feel like we cannot, in all fairness, recommend this motel to our family or friends.

I love this motel! Fun chic retro style with nicely decorated rooms, comfortable bed, very clean and fresh feeling, two sinks which makes getting ready much easier, and located in quant lakeside town with great views, cafes and ways to connect with nature.

Pet friendly and smoker friendly. The only thing is that smokers can only smoke at the benches on this property and few of the more private benches, the benches were in bad shape, like ready to break when you sit on them

This motel has a comfortable, nostalgic vibe. The rooms are clean and spacious. We stayed in a King room, which provided plenty of space for two people to get ready for the day with two sinks available. There is an outdoor pool that appeared well-maintained, although we didn’t use it during our stay. We had recently paid significantly more for another hotel in Traverse City, which didn’t even have a pool. If we're in the area again, we would definitely consider returning to this motel.

Super comfortable room, very considerate amenities. Love that you don't NEED to check in with staff but they are available if you do want/need to interact. But having a convenience room of supplies is an amazing touch. Good strong WiFi, great water pressure in the shower, comfy bed. I wish we had stayed more than 1 night this time

Very welcoming of pets and children. The go above others to make safely and needs a priority. Items you wouldn't expect. The local diner didn't accept the coupon the motel offered but that wasn't the motels responsibility.
