We love staying in this Bayeux cottage. It was an easy walk from the train station. It’s very close to downtown. It was wonderful having a garden. Our host was always in contact with us and answered all questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

The house really couldn’t be better! It’s beautifully decorated and clean, has most everything you could need, and is so spacious. The yard and privacy, and easy parking, were such a nice bonus. Absolutely perfect location, so close walking to the busy town center but on a very quiet street. Carine was responsive, had almost no special requirements about checking out, and was right next door if needed. Having a dryer in addition to the washer was also a plus. Can’t imagine a much better place to stay in Bayeux!

Charming, Quiet, convenient to Bayeux, D-Day Memorials.

The house was absolutely charming, sparkling clean, with attention to every detail a guest could need. Check in and communication was prompt and very easy. Location was very quiet street with lovely gardens to relax in. I didn’t notice laundry being available on listing but there is both a washer and dryer on the property. An easy walking distance to downtown Bayeux for shopping and restaurants. We found this location restful and convenient as we toured Mt St Michel one day and spent another day at the D-Day Memorial area. Highly recommend!

Gem in Bayeux!

This wonderful home was perfect for our Normandy stay. It is close to city center and made seeing the sites and beaches quite easy from a central location. Private yard, great and communicative owners and a well stocked, beautiful home made for a perfect trip. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again! Perfect for families!

The Perfect Home in a Lovely City

We could not have asked for a lovelier home in a more perfect location. We spent four days in Bayeux, visiting its museums and taking a private tour of the Normandy landing beaches and surrounding environs. Carine is the perfect host, and the house a lovely respite!

Fabulous property!

This house was perfect. Check-in process was seamless. House was exactly as advertised-it was clean, spacious and in an incredible location. Walkable to a grocery store, the historic downtown (Tapestry museum and Cathedral), and lots of shops and restaurants. Host was communcative and helpful. Would definitely book again!

Bayeux Bliss

Beautiful little house close to the center of Bayeux. Very well equipped, a short walk to boulangeries, patisseries, restaurants and groceries. Comfortable beds, nearly instantaneous communications with host Carine, and a nice quiet location. If you are lucky, you may get a visit from the gorgeous Gaspard the cat!

Honestly this is the most beautiful, well equipped and spacious house I have ever rented. And I have rented properties all over the world. Communication was very easy, check in was easy, and location was excellent to explore Bayeux and all the beauty of Normandy. Best VRBO in fabulous location

This house is truly one of the best VRBO we have stayed in. It is even nicer in person than in the photos. Great bright home and super super clean. Beautifully decorated. Well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. We loved it. Close to Bayeux old town and a great launching spot for all the war sites. Communication was quick and accurate. A stress free experience all around. I’d recommend this to anyone. We were a family of 4 adults. Lots of space.

Amazing!

This is a house, all on the ground level, with magnificent space! It is an easy walk to everything in town, and secure, private parking. The home is beautifully decorated. The host lives right next door and is easily reached; communication was excellent. This is by far the most beautiful property I have stayed at in France!

By far, the best, Vrbo we have stayed in. Immaculately clean., very nicely decorated, but yet extremely hospitable. It’s so nice that you feel like you want to make sure to keep it clean but yet it’s not so “cold” that you don’t feel like “home” Carine was always available and even help us get a taxi from the train station cause our train was delayed and we did not arrive til midnight (it was extremely helpful. Was no one in our family spoke French!) Absolutely would recommend it and if/we stay in Normandy again we will come back here

Perfect In Bayeux

Exactly what we were looking for. This house had lots of space for our family and was spotless. Easy walk (~5 minutes) into the heart of town - fresh pastries for breakfast or for dinner. Host communicated quickly and accurately. If you are visiting Normandy Bayeux is perfect - the beaches and Caen are all easily accessible.

The BEST House for 3-6 people

This house is immaculate and modern. Layout is perfect for those who wish to go to bed early or sleep in as the bedrooms are able to be closed off from the kitchen and living areas. Easy walk to downtown area, secure parking, washer and dryer! We stayed here 4 nights while exploring the D-day beaches. This was a perfect home base. My companions were very impressed with the home and Carine provided a perfect amount of communication including telling us about an issue creating fuel shortages which we were unaware of since we hadn't been watching French TV. I've stayed at about 30 homes thru VRBO & others and this one deserves 10 stars.

Great location and accommodations

Great communication from thr host! The house was fantastic with 3 bedrrooms and washer & dryer. The stove top took a bit Of figuring out, works great once you get the sequence of taps down. Great location within walking distance to some good restaurants. Backing into the driveway off the street was a bit harrowing at times when traffic popped up.
