Wonderful stay in Bastogne

We stayed for two nights to visit WWII sites. House is large, and was clean and accommodating. We were greeted and very welcomed by the host. There is no air conditioning so the up stairs can be a little stuffy on hot days though the bathrooms have skylight windows you can open in the evenings to cool off. Overall a nice quiet stay. Would stay again.

We expected the house to be very outdated, but it looks a lot better then in the pictures! It's very tastefully decorated, and except for the kitchen it's still up to date. The house was very clean, and everything you could possibly need for cooking was provided. The garden was amazing! Very quiet, nice furniture and the cows in the meadow directly behind it were a lot of fun.

Heerlijk verblijf en behulpzame gastheer. De accommodatie is van alle gemakken voorzien en de bedden zijn goed. Ook de ligging is perfect, het is fijn dat zowel de natuur als de (historische) hoogtepunten op loopafstand zijn. Als we dan toch een tip mogen geven aan de gastheer: vervang de messen. Er zitten enkele kapotte tussen en geen van de messen zijn scherp. Ook zou een grote trekker voor de badkamer met de open douche een uitkomst zijn, of een douchedeur. Nu dien je met een kleine trekker op de knieën de vloer droog te trekken na een douche. Bedankt voor het verblijf, we komen graag nog eens terug!

Erg compleet huis in een rustige omgeving met een heerlijke tuin. Je zit zo in het gezellige centrum van Bastenaken (Bastogne). In het (zeer schone) huis drie slaapkamers, twee badkamers, een hele grote keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt en een grote garage. In de omgeving kan je heerlijk fietsen (routes bij de tourist information in Bastenaken) en wandelen. Echt een adres om nog eens terug te komen.

Schönes, geräumiges Haus im authentischen belgischen Stil mit einem schönen gepflegten Garten mit Terrasse. Idealer Aufenthalt für eine Familie mit kleineren Kindern: Kinderbett und Hochstuhl sind vorhanden, außerdem jede Menge Spielzeug und Spiele. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und der Besitzer spricht auch Niederländisch. Die Umgebung des Hauses ist ruhig und liegt in einem schönen Wander-/Fahrradgebiet. In dieser Region gibt es viel zu tun und zu sehen. Tipps in der Umgebung: La Rosh, Dinant, Chlorophylle-Erlebniswald und Hotton Cave.

Gelungener Urlaub

Die Unterkunft ist sehr großzügig & gut geeignet für Kleinkinder: Der eingezäunte Garten, das Kinderzimmer mit Wickelmöglichkeit & die Spielmöglichkeiten haben unseren Sohn sehr gefallen. Der Vermieter hat sogar ein Dreirad zur Verfügung gestellt :-) Auf dem Grundstück gegenüber gibt es weitere Spielmöglichkeiten für den Nachwuchs (Schaukel, Rutsche, etc.). Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Siedlung am Stadtrand gelegen. Toller Ausgangsort für Unternehmungen & Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Ein Parkplatz ist vorhanden, ebenso eine Abstellmöglichkeit für Fahrräder. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe. Der Vermieter wohnt auf der anderen Straßenseite & hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt & aufgenommen - tadellos :-) Es ist aufgefallen, dass die Einrichtung immer wieder modernisiert wird (Bad, Kühlschrank, Herd, etc.). Der Garten ist sehr gepflegt & lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das WLAN war sehr gut. Leider waren einige Ecken des Hauses verstaubt. Es gab keinen Fön & das Geschirr teilweise in die Jahre gekommen. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden & haben uns wohlgefühlt. Wir konnten die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiter!!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Das Haus ist groß, schön, ist gut ausgestattet und hat eine sehr ruhige Lage. Man kann dort direkt toll wandern, ein Ausflug nach Luxemburg ist auch lohnend. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Familienwochenende!
