The Desmond French Lakefront Retreat has been our private family cabin for over 40-years and we began renting it with other families in late summer of 2025.
Crafted with care and full of character, the cabin features some original retro 60’s furniture along with modern amenities —each detail adding to its mountain lodge charm.
With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2,000 square feet of living space, there’s plenty of room to gather, relax, and enjoy your time in the Sierra Nevadas.

THINGS TO KNOW
Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. Note that our private dock and deck are not accessible by water in the late Fall to early Spring months
