Nice welcome, even though very late arrival. Room spacious, comfortable and had a great sleep but decor could do with a refresh, especially in en-suite ( which was nice and big, with bath). Breakfast: great value. Donna very helpful, professional and friendly. Lovely stay. Would definitely stay again when travelling on this route. Big Sainsbury's nearby, with petrol station. Hotel only just over ½ an hour from ferry terminal.

The breakfast was great, the rooms very clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. However, there wasn't enough tea, coffee and milk in the bedroom and no sugar. Otherwise a very pleasant stay

Useful location but very close to the A30. Nice hotel/former coaching Inn with friendly welcome. Plenty of parking. Good breakfast. The good size double room had a kettle with coffee bags, fan, hairdryer, iron and ironing board plus large TV. The mattress was a bit too firm for our comfort though.

It would have been a lot more comfortable if there was air-con in the rooms. unfortunately we had a booking in the middle of a very hot heatwave, we survived good enough to go on to our next destination. this would not put us off from booking again in the future, it is a very nice hotel, it was very convenient for our needs, and British weather cannot be controlled.

An awful hotel, that in my opinion was hazourdous to health. Room smelt of damp, tiles falling off bathroom wall, mould on window cills, dirt on skirting board, bathroom light, tv both not working, veneer peeling off furniture.

Beds fine but had to chase down staff to check in or get drinks (food not longer being available on a Friday evening). By a road so some road noise. Shower worked eventually but hard to control temperature. Bathroom cleaned but mildew stained and ventilation not good. Breakfast fine and serving staff attentive. Convenient location and parking for our travels onward.

The restaurant was great. Was a good place to stay for a function. You pay for what you get. Was not expecting a lot for £65.00 pounds. Very old facility so also can not expect a lot. Unfortunately our TV did not work well as we tried to unwind for the day, and the toilet would not flush. I would still give it another go to stay.
