Located in the center of the town, this ice cream bar has become over time a reference point for those looking for a welcoming atmosphere and a selection of quality artisanal ice cream. Its history is intertwined with that of Barzio, a holiday resort renowned for its proximity to the mountains and for the charm it has always exerted on tourists and artists.
During the golden years of Italian music, the Garden Bar Gelateria had the privilege of hosting illustrious names such as Adriano Celentano and Mina, two icons that marked an era. It is said that these great artists loved to spend time in Barzio, finding in the Garden a perfect place to relax and enjoy moments of conviviality. Their presence helped to make the place a symbol of the Italian Dolce Vita, further attracting the attention of tourists and lovers of good company.
The place is now closed, but the owners (Esmeralda and Leonardo who experienced the splendour of the seventies) have decided to open 3 of the 5 apartments above for short rentals.
Il Glicine can accommodate up to 6 people and is ideal for families or groups of friends who want a very central location suitable for families.
You will have a large apartment with free private parking space, consisting of a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a living room with a sofa bed for a total of 2 additional places, a generously sized kitchen, and a bathroom with shower. The large terrace overlooking Via Martiri Patrioti Barziesi allows you to enjoy a wonderful view of the Grigne group.
The equipment of the apartment is complete: it comes with 1 set of 3 towels per person and sheets for each bed, washed by a professional laundry. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook, including a small welcome kit with salt, pepper, oil and coffee; in the bathroom you will find a hairdryer, shampoo and shower gel. The main equipment includes internet, TV, washing machine, stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, and everything you need to cook at home.
This apartment can be rented together with the other two in the residence; together the 3 apartments can accommodate up to 17 beds.
The apartment guarantees easy access on foot to the central area of the town, where you will find bars, restaurants, shops and services. You will also be a 1-minute walk from the stop of the free shuttle that takes you to the ski lifts.
The apartment is managed by Nativoo, a benefit company that pursues measurable and concrete sustainability objectives in its statute. The apartment is part of the native OforGood project that pursues sustainable development objectives for short rentals in the territory of Lake Como and Valsassina . . Check-in: Check-in at the property is allowed only after all guests have been registered and the contract has been signed. The standard check-in window is from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; guests are kindly requested to send a message at least 12 hours in advance, specifying a 30-minute time slot for their expected arrival.  
For late check-in, availability must be confirmed by sending a request to the House Manager.  
Where available, guests may opt for self check-in; however, in this case, they must contact the property to arrange an in-person meeting within the following 24 hours. .
