I recently stayed at the Baymont by Wyndham for a quick weekend getaway, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed. First off, it's really a 3 Star Hotel disguised a 2 Star Hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very nice. They also have a restaurant on the property that had amazing food! The hotel is also situated conveniently to a lot of local attractions like the Mount Airy Casino, The Shopping Outlet, Camelback, and others. The few cons I do have, is that the property is a bit dated, and it could use some brightening up as the hallways were a bit dark. The pool area could use some freshening up as well, but outside of that, everything was great, and I do plan on staying there again in the future

Tub was an issue

Tub was turned on for a shower, and it was not draining, like the plug was down, but the plug was up. I don't like standing water in the tub, but after I turned water off to see if it would drain, I noticed small hairs floating in the water. I skipped on the shower. Rest of room seemed ok, but I would not have wanted to stay more than a night, and would pick somewhere different next time.

Party in the Poconos

We came here for an overnight trip for my significant other’s 60th birthday to visit the Blie Ridge Winery. The hotel is a little dated but clean and the bed was very comfortable. For me, the pillows were a little too hard but the others in my party thought they were good. The A/C worked perfectly, great for an overnight or long weekend trip!

The included breakfast here was SO good. The restaurant/bar was a really cool spot to hang out, and they had fire pits outside as well. Indoor pool open 10-10 was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quick/easy check in and out. Would definitely stay here again.
Breakfast included eggs, ham, hashbrowns, sausage, pancakes, waffles, breads, doughnuts, yogurt, cereal. All very good!

3rd stay - great staff, great room, love the bartender. Unfortunately, the refrigerator in 155 kept making loud noises and i never slept past 3am. Oh well. I had a tough day today.

I enjoyed the breakfast that was served daily as well as the staff that worked in a.m. I didnt like how often I would have to ask for clean towels (3night stay) I was also disapointed with no privacy with the room with jacuzzi. Pics of pool a bit deceiving too. Check in staff were friendly.

We were in town for a convention and chose this hotel as it was a good balance between distance to the convention site and price/value. Everyone here was friendly, the beds were comfy, the room i got was large, and a hot breakfast was provided each day. The space was a little old feeling, but overall well maintained. I would stay here again.

Needs renovations on a potienal hotel

Our stay at the hotel is average. The location of the hotel is close by outlets, malls, and resturants along the long road strip, that is a plus. A good drive to different destinations in the area. Stephanie the front concierge is helpful, informative, and kind to us. My partner and I stayed at room 161. I can see the progress of updating the room with the bedding, flooring, ceiling, and furnature are updated. The only thing that is outdated is the bathroom. The hot tub and the shower head are outdated yet did its job. The room overall is clean well and inspected with the black light test. The only thing i found that wasnt clean was the mini coffee machine which had mini splashes on the wall, but nothing major. The hotel overall is average and convenient loaction. The swimming pool and a bar is a plus if you do not want to go far and relax. The outside looks dated, yet acceptable because of renovations thats happening from this review. Ill come back again and explore more in the area.

The hotel was in a fantastic location in the Poconos. It is close to grocery store, bars, restaurants, The Crossings and attractions around the area. The bed is comfortable and the pillows were nice for us. Our room smelled fresh, it was clean and did not smell musty as other reviewers on here mentioned. A few reviewers mentioned low water pressure, I was hoping it was fixed after their stay, but shower water pressure is terrible and was a disappointment. The pool area does need some TLC. Pool was cloudy so we did not use that. Hot tub’s water was perfect temperature and clear, however, you could tell the hot tub needs some refinishing. If a nice shower at a hotel is top on your list, I would not recommend this hotel. However, if you’re looking for value and a comfortable bed in a great location, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stephanie was the best part. Greeted us and got us checked in. Top notch service!! Happy with our room. The hotel seems older so it's too be expected that it's not in new, mint condition so we tend to overlook things picky and 'big spenders' (that's a huge joke here) complain about here. We look for cheap places to stay so a place like this is a pleasant surprise. The only thing upsetting was the lounge closed at 930 yet would ONLY serve fried foods when we walked in at 850. Also, based on reviews, we thought we'd receive a hot breakfast, but all it was was waffles, yogurt, and cereal. All in all, VERY satisfied. Great coffee too!
