The Settlers by Rangers Kangaroo Valley

The Settlers Cottage takes advantage of exclusive views of the mountains and vast Barrengarry Farmland and is designed to make you feel like you have stepped back in time to the days of the early settlers in Kangaroo Valley & Barrengarry - yet retains conveniences and comforts of modern living.

Just the one queen-size bed with and open fire, makes this perfect for a couples romantic getaway! Enjoy the old world charm of unique fittings such as: Pull chain lights and toilet and an antique claw-foot bath, while still having some modern comforts in the Reverse cycle air conditioner and the TV. Enjoy a walk with the wildlife in the surrounding farmland, or just snuggle up in front of the fire with that special someone.

Guests enjoy full private access to the Settlers, surrounding outdoor areas, verandahs, and parking spaces. The property is part of the Rangers Ranch cottage compound, with each cottage privately positioned for guest comfort and privacy.

You have total privacy in the home and access to everything around the Settlers. We live close by and are available for all requests on your visit

Located in beautiful Barrengarry, Kangaroo Valley, the property is surrounded by rolling farmland, mountain scenery, and peaceful countryside landscapes. The Kangaroo Valley village is just a short drive away, offering cafés, boutique shops, the historic pub, river activities, walking trails, and local markets.

Firewood can be a bit hit and miss locally. While Mitre 10 in Bowral may not have stock, you’ll usually find bags at nearby service stations in Bowral or Mittagong.
