Room was clean, bed was comfortable, free parking. Staff was helpful & pleasant. The receptionist, Ms. Cynthia, is the best!! There's a laundromat & Huddle House Restaurant within walking distance. There is a Wal-Mart as well as a McDonalds & other fast food businesses nearby.

The cleanliness could have been better..we had to ask for new sheets and pillow cases..as someone that is a manager for janitorial business, I would have hoped it would have been more than it was! We had to change our own bed bc there was no staff to do it. Then I noticed the cleaner in the morning was using the same mop water in every room..I get being short staffed but managing comes first so that’s where it starts!! Do better..

Best Hotel in Barnwell

Best place to stay in Barnwell. The facility was very clean, well lit, and conveniently located near all of the shopping and food in town. Rick and his staff were very accommodating and checkin and check out was a breeze. I highly recommend you stay here.

TV was broken where it would start up with full volume and half blown speaker 🔊 the remote batteries were dead luckily I travel with extra ones the pool was drained and had leaves in it so no pool even though it's listed the table was about to collapse so I did not put anything on it

Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. Staff was pleasant. Website lists a free breakfast but they only offered coffee and juice behind a locked lobby door at 8 am. Also, required a $50 deposit at check in. I have never had to pay a deposit at a motel.

We were really disappointed. On the website it said there was breakfast; there is no breakfast of any kind. There was no coffee maker in our room, so we tried to get coffee at the office around 6:45am; the office was locked and we had to call the night person. He came and put on some coffee that wasn't drinkable. They have an outdoor pool, which is why we booked here in the first place, but staff seemed reluctant to unlock it for us. They told us it was closing shortly after we arrived in the evening, and the next morning we had to wait hours for them to open it. This despite the pool being feet from the office and quite small. We tried going to the local Y (which is very nice) while we waited. We also felt the floor in our room was quite dirty, so in the end we cut our stay short and went to stay somewhere out of town.
