We have been staying in Barmouth for years but this was our first visit to seascape.it was brilliant. Nicely done modern room very well cared for. Super friendly owner and good value for money. We have already booked to go back there in June and will be staying there more in the future

Lovely stay for a weekend getaway. Owners were nice and helpful. Room was quite spacious, and fit for purpose. The mountain view was not much of a view but still ticked a box. Stayed in room 1 with my 9 year old. She liked the room and the fact that the beach was right outside. Would recommend.

Very friendly staff, very clean room, and though it was of the mountain rather than the sea, the view out of the window was beautiful! There are lots of places to eat nearby, and the train station was a very short walk away.

I was very pleased to find that my room (no.5) had recently been refurbished with new fixtures and fittings! The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. A fridge was included, which was useful for storing breakfast items. Free parking outside on the street was ok in May, but I imagine it could be a problem in high season. Barmouth Train station is a 5 minute walk away with trains roughly every 2 hours north to Pwllheli and south to Machynlleth. The hotel owner has conveniently posted the timetable in the foyer.

Very friendly and well managed guest house. Comfortable, clean, and under the management of a fantastic couple, Malik and Shona, who gave us all the best local knowledge on where to visit, where to eat, and how to make to most of our fabulous trip to west Wales.

A great place to stay for solo travellers
