La Casa di Giò - Apartment Near the Train Station & Polyclinic

A comfortable, tastefully furnished apartment with striking architecture featuring high vaulted ceilings, accommodating up to 5 people. Extremely convenient location: just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station, 5 minutes from the Quintino Sella station (with a connection to the airport), and right next to the Policlinico hospital. The lively waterfront—the beating heart of the city with its events, bars, and shops—and downtown Bari are both a 15-minute walk away.



The 70-square-meter apartment is located on the first floor of a historic building (please note there are 4 steps to access it) and is laid out as follows:



- Kitchenette equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, electric kettle, dishwasher, conventional oven, and microwave;

- Living room with dining table, double sofa bed, split A/C, and smart TV

- Bedroom I with double bed, closet, dresser, split A/C, and smart TV

- Bedroom II with single bed and closet,

- Bathroom with toilet, bidet, and shower stall



The keys to the front door are located inside a safe that opens with a code, which will be provided at check-in.



Additional amenities available to guests: UNLIMITED WIFI, independent heating, washing machine, dryer, vacuum cleaner, drying rack, iron, and ironing board.

Towels and bed linens included (with optional changes available for a fee).



7 days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax owed to the City of Bari, which is €2 per person per night for the first 4 nights.

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the details to the “Alloggiati Web” police service, which is the Italian system for registering guests staying in Italy.

Turning the air conditioning and heating on and off is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013, and Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

ESummer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The heating season and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Bari is a city that captivates not only the eyes of travelers but also their palates, with its street food and traditional Apulian dishes: from “sgagliozze” to fried panzerotti, from raw seafood (mussels, oysters, baby octopus) to fava bean purée, from Bari-style prosciutto to orecchiette with turnip greens. Over the years, the city has transformed its historic center into a hub for young people and adults alike, thanks to its trendy and sophisticated venues—but that’s not all, as it also offers a wealth of attractions for culture-loving tourists. There are many events and festivals, such as the San Nicola Fair in May, and above all the Fiera del Levante, an international trade fair, which takes place in September. The Fair aims to promote trade between the East and the West, for which Bari has traditionally been the most accessible meeting point.

The apartment is in an excellent location: a 16-minute (1.3 km) walk from the waterfront, in one of the city’s liveliest areas, bustling with live concerts, the Feast of St. Nicholas, and numerous street food events. It is also just a 20-minute walk from the historic center and the renowned “N’derr alla lanz,” Bari’s mecca for raw fish, and an 8-minute walk from Bari Central Station. All the amenities you need for a comfortable stay are within walking distance: supermarkets, cafes, and pharmacies are all within 300 meters.



- FROM KAROL WOYTILA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: You can reach the apartment by taking the FR2 train to Bari Central Station, located 800 meters from the apartment.



- FROM BARI CENTRALE STATION: The apartment is easily accessible in a 10-minute walk.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking in front of the building is prohibited. You must park on nearby streets—either in paid blue-line spaces or free white-line spaces (availability NOT guaranteed). Alternatively, you can park for a fee at the Gestipark parking lot in Piazza Giulio Cesare, 350 meters from the apartment.
