Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
This property has a lot of potential but the owner is not investing in it so it is getting old and falling apart. There is a real lack of modern appliances for an apartment (a microwave and washing machine) Good things: - Big apartment and big balcony. - Despite being in a poor area, the people are generally friendly. - Coop supermarket across the road. - Quiet building. Bad things: - Unsympathetic owner/contact person - seems to think all the issues in building are nothing to do with her. - No microwave and washing machine. - Broken plug sockets. - Socket where the plugs don't fit! - Nightmare for car parking. - Awful narrow sofa that you can't comfortably sit on. - The air Con doesn't work in spare bedroom and in living room. Thankfully there was 2 fans. - Broken furniture left on balcony. - Had a broom but no dustpan! Had to buy a dustpan. - Cheap bed. Had broken bed slats. I had to move broken slat from top to the bottom of bed so that I could sleep properly on the bed! - The shower water had little to no pressure. - The shower protector was broken (the bit stopping the water from flowing out of the tub). - Kitchen was tiny and very dimly lit.
