In 2010, I began renovating this house, which had been abandoned since 1979 and had been home to three generations of farmers. In many cases, I sought out antique materials to preserve the tradition. The floor is made of antique mezzane (the classic terracotta tiles found in Tuscan farmhouses), and the ceiling, fireplaces, and much more have been restored to their original condition. The two kitchens are fully equipped with everything you need, as are the bathrooms. The property sits on 16,000 square meters of land, mostly olive groves, with ample space for outdoor dining both in the courtyard and in the private garden. Both outdoor areas are close to a barbecue and a traditional oven.
