First Impressions: Upon check-in, I was immediately struck by the guest demographic—most visitors were at least three decades older than me. I’ll admit, I was shocked at first, as I hadn’t expected such a significant age gap. That said, the guests turned out to be incredibly welcoming, and I felt embraced by the community. Accessibility & Accommodation: One of the biggest hurdles was being initially placed on the second floor, despite the resort not having elevators. As someone with a handicap, this was concerning. Thankfully, the staff quickly accommodated my needs and ensured I had accessible arrangements. This responsiveness made a huge difference in my stay. Tip for future travelers: Call ahead to confirm accessibility needs. I did try calling before arrival, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone. Staff Highlights: The staff truly made my trip memorable. Their warmth and attentiveness stood out: Darious (Waiter): Always attentive and made meals enjoyable. Jermaine (Bartender): Hands down the best bartender. Shelly (Food Service): Went above and beyond to ensure our table was accessible and handled any issues seamlessly. Natalie: Helped track down a list of recommended staff from prior guests, which was incredibly thoughtful. Joshua (Front Desk): Made check-in smooth and stress-free. Dave (New Server): Though new, he provided excellent service at dinner and added to the positive experience.
