Great overnight stay at Courtyard Marriott Barbados. The hotel was clean, modern, and perfectly comfortable for a short visit. The hospitality staff were extremely helpful in making sure all your needs were attended to efficiency with the charming 'bajan' culture. However Courtyard Marriott should improve the lighting in the room ,the lights in living/sleeping area should create the ambience of relaxation and sleep the bathroom light must be sunlight bright and the flow of the shower must be upgraded this is the worst experience in any Marriott branded hotel notwithstanding this we had a safe and comfortable time

Courtyard is an awesome location with great bars, restaurants and beach access close by. But the Hotel is getting dated, and I mentioned during previous stays that the room AC units are extremely loud and disruptive for a good night's sleep. The BBD 75.00 breakfast buffet is also quite over rated, you really need to pay attention to your customers and the quality of the food you serve. (Saltfish and your omelet station is great). But service level was poor and I managed to finish breakfast without anyone approaching me or the table. Hope they do a general reno on this hotel soon so they can live uo to the brand name.
