The Fireside Lodge is the largest space at Fireside Cabins, a restored 1930s lodge with about 1,370 sq ft of red oak floors, knotty pine walls, a stone fireplace, and panoramic windows overlooking the woods. Two bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a fully renovated kitchen make it comfortable for 6 to 8, with sleeping for up to 11.
Both bedrooms feature handcrafted knotty pine beds, and the main bedroom has a big picture window. A pull-out sofa bed and a futon in the living room add extra sleeping. The full bath has a custom tile walk-in shower, and a cozy half bath helps when the house is full.
Downstairs, the Guest Gathering Space offers a second full kitchen and guest laundry, open around the clock. Our on-site Wine and Beer Bar pours local craft beer and wine Friday and Saturday, 5 to 7 PM. The space is insulated, and quiet hours run 10 PM to 8 AM so everyone rests well.
Outside, enjoy 3.5 wooded acres with a pickleball court, The Garage Game Room with Xbox, PlayStation, and board games, a large communal stone firepit, a wooded walking trail, grills, cornhole, and EV charging. Free parking is steps from the Lodge, with trailer parking on request.
Devil's Lake State Park is a short drive, and the Wisconsin Dells, Circus World, and downtown Baraboo are minutes away. Self check-in with a smart lock means you arrive on your schedule, and we're on-site most days if you need anything.
