Mount Desert Island Oceanarium and Garland Farm are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Northeast Harbor Golf Club and Kebo Valley Golf Club. Bar Harbor Whale Watching and Wild Acadia Fun Park are also worth visiting.
Charming suite in an 1810 Cape Cod. Easy to find, close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor to be convenient yet out of the hustle and bustle. Host was amazing as were her muffins. The bathroom was pretty tiny but adequate unless you are a large person. Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed in Apartment B. Pros: super cute and cozy vibe, plenty of space, several bed options (queen bed, twin bed with trundle twin mattress underneath, and twin fold up cot), kitchen supplies, shared hot tub (which I had to myself all 3 nights... I went in around 6pm-7:30pm) Cons: noise level (this was my biggest complaint, as I heard voices and footsteps above frequently and traffic on the busy road outside), twin bed weirdly placed in the living room (I thought it was going to be in a separate bedroom based on the description of the apartment on here), queen and twin bed not the most comfortable
Very pleasant welcome, room was clean and spaious. Quietness in bedroom. We loved it
Not a bad place to stay for a good price. It looked like someone came in one day and made two of the beds but left the queen bed in the bedroom unmade. No one came in on Sunday at all. Not a huge deal since it was a quick trip but I was unaware there wasn’t housekeeping
