This property is such a great homebase if you want something a little off the beaten path, but still steps away from Acadia. I stayed here for 4 nights with our family of four, including my 2yo and 5yo. This cute little house had everything we needed: loads of spices, paper products, soaps and detergents, a playset, grill, campfire with wood provided, even a picnic basket which we used everyday in Acadia. The hidden path down to the shore is simply magical! My kids were super excited to find it the evening we arrived. With littles it was about a 20 minute walk through emerald green moss covered forest; it felt like we were in a fairytale! You end up on the rocky shore at a hidden rock beach. This was one of our favorite parts of our entire trip to Maine! I would highly recommend this place!!!
