Odor

The hotel was generally just ok. Most disturbing was the strange odor in the stairwell leading to my room. Also no screens on the windows meant no fresh air.

Basic Room

Great location and great service, but room was not what I would expect for $300 a night. Very small bathroom, paper thin walls, uncomfortable pillows, no coffee machine in the room, and no desk or coffee table for me to work on. The maid left a dirty coffee cup between the bed and nightstand from the former occupants. Super nice at the front desk but probably won't stay there again.

Perfect location. The Anchorage Motel is close to everything- shopping, restaurants and the Island Explorer bus stop which will take you to Acadia National Park. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The staff was very helpful and kind. They were great. The property was in a very convenient location and was reasonably clean. The amenities could be improved but overall it was nice. Would stay again.

Great location, easy walk to Bar Harbor shopping and restaurants. The building is older but very well maintained. Our room was a nice size, very clean and bright. We also got a great price compared to similar places in the area.

Extremely convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The coffee in the lobby was excellent, and I am a coffee snob! Staff was very friendly and informative.

It was in the center of Bar Harbor and everything was close proximity and the front desk was very knowledgeable and approachable. Also I left my watch there and they return it. Great place.
