Stayed here for my 3 day visit to Acadia, very glad I chose this property. Close enough to Bar Harbor and the park, but far enough away, so you’re not landlocked within the island. Clean room, clean property, parking lot is well lit night, and there’s a lobster shack right across the street that had the best bang for your buck lobster I personally found with my stay to Maine.

This adorable little motel was perfect for my daughter and I. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage and it was immaculate, with the room being serviced daily. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were surprised that one air conditioner cooled the entire cottage, but it did! The bathroom was small but was fine for us. My only recommendation would be to replace the chairs in the main room with a couch, facing the television.

The room was clean. The room had a full bed instead of a queen bed but according to the front office, we booked a full bed instead of a queen bed, but that’s highly unlikely. Through my experience of booking hotels/motels I never heard of a room having a full bed.

Our biggest complaint was the mattress- it was very uncomfortable and worn down. The room’s organization could have been better. The rack where you hang your clothes was on the wall next to the full size bed - overlapping the area where we were sleeping. The room’s cleanliness was good.,but we saw a couple of bugs.
