A place to relax

Lumbo was an amazing host. He was welcoming and friendly, and whilst his English wasn't perfect he and his chef went out of their way to help us with our stay. We were fed with delicious home cooked cuisine every breakfast. We enjoyed the newly installed sauna in the evenings after a days skiing! Lumbo really went the extra mile, finding me a dentist and acting as a translator when I suffered tooth pain at the end of our stay. Three walk to the ski lift is 15 minutes but there are lots of good restaurants a short walk away. Recommended! We will come back!

Great hospitality fantastic food

We had a wonderful time at the Trenchova Guest House located in the traditional area of Bansko, away from the modern ski developments. Our room had a balcony and mountain view and was extremely clean and comfortable. We received great hospitality, with a fantastic breakfast which was different on each of the five days we stayed, and include freshly cooked Bulgarian specialities - delicious. Trenchova is located within walking distance of the old town centre with a choice of places to eat in the evening. It also proved an excellent base for exploring the Pirin mountains with their forests, mountain flowers and chamois.

Local is the best!

Wonderful local geusthouse! The hosts are very welcoming. The fire was always on. Our room was cosy. Bansko offers a great ski experience.
