Just five minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, this spacious five-bedroom home places you at the center of all-season adventures. Enjoy activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and tubing in the winter, and switch gears to mountain biking, disc golf, and scenic lift rides during the warmer months.

After a day of exploration, return to multi-level living spaces designed for comfort and entertainment. Take in breathtaking mountain views, relax in the private hot tub, or head to the lower-level game room for some friendly competition with the pool table and ping pong conversion.

Located just minutes from the Buckeye Recreation Center, guests have easy access to a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including basketball, tennis, racquetball, fishing, and paddle boating. The nearby town of Banner Elk, only six miles away, offers delightful attractions such as the Banner Elk Winery, the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and cultural events at Lees-McRae College.

Please note that Western Wonder is not pet-friendly. The driveway accommodates three to four vehicles; however, it is narrow and inclined, requiring guests to back out with caution. Additionally, this home does not have air conditioning, as its elevated location provides naturally cool mountain breezes throughout the warmer months.

Loved the house. Very beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Great views! A lot of good amenities, everything worked. 5min away from the slopes. Host is very responsive. Just watch out for how much trash you accumulate, no trash collection happened during our 7 day stay and if the bins outside fill out (they are quite small), it’s up to you to bring it in your car to the city’s community center. Otherwise highly recommend for families and friends! Well worth it.
