"Our family (6 adults) stayed just one night and we wished we had had time for a longer stay. The property is even better than described. The historical renovation is perfect and it is well decorated with appropriate antiques. We enjoyed visiting the farm's animals as well as the deer that visited us in the evening. The porch was a hit: we sat on the porch in the dark to watch the fireflies rise and enjoyed it again for early morning coffee. If we had been able to stay another night we would have loved to have a campfire in the area provided just uphill. The area has a peaceful vibe that elevated our porch sitting to an art form. Seriously, book this property. It's clean, it's unique, lots of bonus perks including farm animals, farm fresh eggs, and there's even a hammock uphill near the woods. Relaxing country atmosphere. And a to-die-for master."

"This photos of this property were not accurate. The property is rundown and dated. The room had dirty rugs, electric outlets missing (we had to request an extension cord) and we couldn’t open the window-which had no screen anyway. I’m sure the 4 seasons had its day, but it is need of major updating. There is no outdoor area and the attached restaurant is closed."

"This property is not what the pictures show! Those photos must be decades old! It is not a bright blue fresh painted place. It is not well-maintained. When we pulled in my kid screamed "Bates Motel!" The exterior was not maintained at all. It had weathered and gray boards with mold all over. We wanted a lodge vibe while in the mountains, but I could have stayed in a nicer hotel for the money I spent here! The hall and stairs and room carpet were nasty and smelled. My bathroom smelled like urine. The sofa had some kind of stain on it. The top ledge of the sofa and cushions and the blanket for the pull-out were covered in dust and kicked up everywhere when we sat down and used the blanket. Window air conditioner and was loud. Gross. Did not feel safe here at all. They said they could not refund my money."
