Amazing staff! Everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating. I really appreciated the warm Marriott member welcome. The hotel has a lot of history, which gives it wonderful charm. Breakfast was decent, though it could use more variety. Food service was a bit slow, but the staff were so friendly that it hardly mattered. Room bathroom, could use upgrading. The location is excellent, within walking distance of great restaurants and a very cool, trendy nightlife area.

This hotel is opulent in every way. It is literally one block from the metro line. The lobby is clean, spacious, with comfortable seating. There is a dining area. A pool, a spa. The tooms are clean and inviting and are cleaned daily. They give you adequate towels and pillows. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Safe? Not at all because anybody can enter to the room without checking points. Property conditions? Very poor at the old building, old does not mean nasty and dirty, so if housekeepers do their jobs it will last the hotel rooms in years. Staff? Only one lady that was super nice and understanding.

The most infuriating part was that I specifically selected “breakfast included” on Expedia, only to find out that breakfast was charged separately. The only redeeming feature was the metro station right in front of the hotel. For the price, the service was absolutely unacceptable.
