I had a very bad experience with the front desk team. My booking confirmation clearly stated a 20% discount on dining at the hotel. However, when I showed this to the front desk staff, including the assistant manager, they told me they could not honor the dining discount.
Instead of trying to help or investigate why they didn’t receive the information, the assistant manager and staff told me to settle the matter with Expedia myself. I explained that they should contact Expedia directly, rather than pushing the responsibility onto guests, especially when the discount is clearly stated in our booking confirmation.
The next day, when we asked for an update, the assistant manager was defensive and rude. She repeatedly said it was not the hotel's responsibility to honor the discount and made it seem like it was our fault for asking them to check with Expedia instead of doing it ourselves.
I have never experienced such terrible service from a hotel front desk before.
I definitely would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, as the front desk, particularly the assistant manager was completely unhelpful. Due to this unpleasant experience, my family didn’t even feel like dining at the hotel.
In addition, the bathroom had flooding issues during every shower. The water did not drain properly and would remain pooled on the floor, even after we were done. Soapy water would be all over the bathroom floor, making it slippery and dangerous for guests, a serious safety hazard!
