I had a very clean room! Staff are helpful and nice. Basic amenities but all that you'll need. You can wash and dry clothes as they have a washer and dryer. About a 20 min walk to Terminal 21 mall and train station. Lots of choices of food near by. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Arawana and had such a great experience. The location is super convenient, the room was always clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They upgraded my room for the last day and even let me check out late, which I truly appreciated. The hotel was in an old world part of the Sukhumvit that I was yet to experience in my three months of living from hotel to motel, and guest house, tour of a small but dense area of Bangkok. That was exciting to see something different amongst the old and the ordinary scene I expected. The place was clean, safe and surprisingly inexpensive for the size and standard if the room. Felt safe to explore aplaceIwould otherwise ever been.

My room was a little bit smaller size than typical hotels. But that was fine with me. The staff was very helpful and very eager to help with my questions. The only downfall I saw is that the elevator seems to have been broken for quite some time now.
