Driftwood Cottage is a beautifully presented (but a little quirky!) seaside retreat in Portsoy, now a favourite with many returning guests since opening in 2019. The cottage offers cosy ground-floor living with a king bedroom, shower room, lounge and kitchen. Upstairs, a twin room and small play area with low ceilings suit younger children although there are steep stairs to access this. Guests enjoy fast Wi-Fi and dogs are warmly welcomed. One of Driftwood’s highlights is its tiered garden, rising behind the cottage with three terraces, a barbecue area, pond, and a summer house from which you can enjoy views over the historic rooftops to the sea. Portsoy is a friendly coastal town centred on its 17th-century harbour and renowned for its boat festival, coastal walks, wildlife, and award-winning ice cream. Explore beaches, cliff paths and heritage sites along the beautiful Banffshire coast, often cited for its natural beauty and wildlife.
