A lovely rural setting, 20 minute walk from Bamburgh, 5 minutes in the car. Plenty of parking, although the ‘10 steps to door’ wasn’t quite accurate. Yes for unloading & loading, but the parking area was a little further. The Hayloft was very well equipped and comfortable although the dining chairs had seen better days - cushions on the seats solved that. Lovely to have the hot tub available after a couple of boat trips in inclement weather. Unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to play table tennis or make use of the pods, but great facilities to have on site. It would have been helpful for the ‘resort’ name of Bamburgh First be somewhere on the paperwork - 2 Dukesfield Cottages is nowhere to be found!
