Excellent location in Bambergs altstadt. Historic building, but completely modern inside. Staff is friendly and even arranged a taxi for our ride back to the train station. To top it all off, the room rate was reasonable. Highly recommended!!!

The hotel was beautiful and the view from my room absolutely outstanding. The breakfast was good. The staff were absolutely fantastic. We were there during the heatwave and there was no a/c, which I don't blame the hotel for, but it definitely impacted our experience on the hottest days of the year. The bar staff were always cheerful when I asked them for yet another pint full of ice (thanks, guys!!), but I wish that there was a more consistent concierge presence at the front desk.

The location is perfect. Rooms are clean and if you are lucky you get a nice view. The breakfast is good - maybe on the expensive side if you like eggs. I’ve stayed here twice. Once in summer once in winter. Rooms are very cold during the day but under the covers at night it is not.
