Overall the property is solid. The front desk staff were helpful, although I wanted to update my room, it was a bit tough to get them to assist. The bartenders were great. The cafe was super limiting in its options. I drink decaf coffee. They only had drip, and they did not have any alternative milk options, which is not very common. We had breakfast the day of checkout. Sadly, the crab I ordered to be added to my omelet was spoiled. It smelled of ammonia, which is surprising coming from a property like this. The view of the lake was splendid though and the rooms were nice. The AC did sound like an airplane tho :)

When I was looking for a hotel, I specifically wanted a hotel with an outdoor pool. This one clearly had an outdoor pool listed on its website, but when I got there, they said the pool was closed for the season. I mentioned that I had chosen their hotel specifically because of the pool, but they said there was no recourse, no refund, etc.. I only stayed that first night, but they refused to give me any money back. I’m a long time Bonvoy member and I’ve never had this problem before.

Excellent staff - Kareem, Hope, Lynn, fantastic breakfast crew (shout-out to Brandon, Esmerelda, Emily) - great location, great shuttle to the venue. Plus the bar in the evening was always a vibe - thanks Omur and Sarah for hustling to keep us fed and watered. 10/10 would do again.

This was a staycation for my birthday with just me and my husband. We are long time Columbia residents and know the area . The property is very nice and King room with balcony was amazing. The only downfall was the restaurant service , we attempted to have my birthday dinner in the restaurant downstairs. Waited several minutes to be seated, never got a menu, water or anything. It seemed like one person was the only one waiting tables and she seemed flustered .We were trying to give them some leeway yet sat for 20 minutes . When she stood right by our table looked at us yet said nothing , and we still didnt have menus thats when we left and had dinner elsewhere. We did tell the front desk and she gave us a coupon for free breakfast for two . We did get breakfast yet once again it appeared like they were very short staffed and our breakfast took over 20 minutes to come . We came at a good time because the tables after us waited even longer . I would recommend that they work on hiring more staff for the restaurants .
