Family getaway

Tucked in the back of the culdesac, our getaway felt fairly private. Plenty of space for each of the kids to have their privacy when wanted. We could choose the back deck or front patio to enjoy coffee in the mornings. It was great to have the outdoor cooking options-even cooked pancakes on the flat top outside. Plenty of refrigerator space with a fridge on each level plus garage fridge. It was nice to have garage space for storage as we brought bikes. Beds comfortable. We could enjoy some yard games until evening, then the bugs came out. Since the house is right next to the woods, that was expected. We appreciate the efforts they take to keep indoor insects to a minimum. There were many essentials provided and kitchen was well stocked. Suggest getting any groceries/beverages at Saint Croix Falls or bring them with you. Restaurants are close. Small beach very close. Short drive to Taylor’s Falls to kayak down the river and visit State Parks. The home met our needs well and Anne corresponded with us always in good time.

The house was perfect for us. It was clean and spacious as advertised. It was exceptionally well-provisioned with linens, towels, dishes, supplies and even food like coffee and spices. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. It's a five-star vacation rental.

House was perfect for our group size! Mosquitos were horrible, we did have to kill several inside the house downstairs a few nights. Other than that it was a great trip!
