One of the cleanest room you could find. A perfect place to stay and explore the fabulous beaches and amenities of that part of Donegal. The owners are lovely and made us feel like home. They gave us great suggestions both for dining and exploring the area.

On arrival Clara welcomed us and we talked for a long time. She showed us our room and where we could get tea and coffe and took our orders for breakfast. There was a lounge downstairs you could sit to watch tv and have your tea/coffee.Breakfast had a wide choice to choose from.

I can't find a fault with anything about my Stay even if I wanted to, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left it was excellent, comfortable beds, clean, tidy, hosts were best I've ever experienced, I would definitely have no hesitation in staying again, and would recommend madra rua to anyone.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Madra Rua in Ballyliffin room. The room was a good size with lovely sheets and towels. The owners are a lovely couple who also suggested we have dinner at Simpsons which was a good choice. Breakfast at Madra Rua was a hearty Spanish omelette and pancakes with fresh fruit served in a charming room. Highly recommended.

Organic Delight

This place was wonderful and everything was spot on. The breakfast was possibly the best we’ve had since being in Ireland and when they advertise ‘organic’ they really mean it. I would highly recommend this place if youre looking around this area as I can’t believe there would be better. Thank you Clara for your wonderful hospitality.
