This place is an adorable bed and breakfast. Diana is communicative and accommodating, just message through the app and she answers immediately. They had a lil whisky waiting on arrival which was great because this is on the whisky trail. I would only suggest dealing with some upholstery stains on the cute furniture to have a flawless stay.

This is the third year we've stayed at Argyll Guest House during October weekend, and would return next year. There are new improvements to the rooms and the usual cleanliness and servie continues to be best.

Great comfortable stay however, the hostess was a little to helpful and my day of planed relaxation turned into a great tour of the local Tomintoul distillery and a wonderful walk to Carn Daimh 570m

Excellent guest house

Can thoroughly recommend, clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast and the friendliest of welcomes. A brilliant restaurant a short stroll away for dinner. We stayed in the stag room which is very spacious.

We received the most inhospitable greeting upon arrival. The choice of breakfast times were 0700, 0730, 0800 or 0830. We normally don’t like to set an alarm clock to have breakfast on vacation. You could feel the metal coils of the mattress poking you in bed. I would not stay here again. I’ve been to almost fifty countries and felt very unwelcome here.

The property owner, Diane, was warm, welcoming and very friendly. She provided great suggestions for dinner and sightseeing. She ensured that our vegetarian dietary needs were accommodated. The room was very spacious. Overall we had a good experience.
