Overall wonderful stay for 5 weeks - a terrific house in a great situation. Being somewhat elevated (250-300metres), there was lovely cool air movement and we did not need to use the aircon despite hot temperatures down at the coast. The organisation was perfect - great communication from the host Alan and efficient and helpful connection with management team, A bit more detail in the setting up would have been helpful - there were some crafty inner drawers in the the kitchen units, which contained all sorts of useful gadgets - but we did not discover them until late in our stay. A bit of warning when the gardening team were coming would have been helpful as they spent a morning with all the machinery for cutting grass etc making a lot of noise - which we would have escaped with notice.The household equipment was mainly very good although the ice making part of the freezer did not work and the dishwasher should be anchored more firmly so it does not tip forward when the full drawers are pulled out.The swimming pool is magical, beautifully maintained and a great size. The gardens are one of the more disappointing aspects - very steeply sloping and too difficult to stroll around in but very picturesque. The sense of security was great and we felt wonderfully safe and secure. We would give this house and team the strongest recommendation and would be very glad to return in the future.
