For the brand and price, the hotel was very disappointing - the rooms are very dated with visible damage and in need of a deep clean. The “king” bed was two single beds pushed together and due to the poor quality of mattresses had an extremely noticeable and uncomfortable ridge down the middle. There is a pile of dirty mattresses and broken furniture dumped in the corner of one of the squares around which guest rooms are located.

Fantastic venue and the rooms were great. Very disappointed with breakfast as we were unable to get our 2nd days breakfast because the closed early due to a lack of guests (not good enough when we paid for our breakfast and were denied it even when we were there within the timeframe of breakfast being offered). This was a really disappointing stay as it was meant to be a treat for our first night away together in a very long time. The property is lovely and the room was solid, but for the price we expected a bit more. The room was so light we needed eye masks ideally. There were spider webs in all the high/harder to reach areas & some ants in the fridge. None of this was too bothersome, but the distinct sewerage smell in the bathroom the next morning, made way worse when we had the fan on to shower, was really gross. We let reception know, and none of it was enough to make us change accommodation, but it was really off-putting, especially for $200/night.

The new rooms here are lovely but the older courtyard room we had on this second trip was outdated and needed a deep clean. Beds were comfortable but bathroom needs a facelift or a really good clean and has no heating so is absolutely freezing.
