Nice stay and a very helpful and friendly staff. I did both breakfast and dinner at the inn. Dinner is highly recommended. Glencoe is a wonderful area with no city hustle and bustle.
One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. (I’m top 1% of Expedia travellers).
Good hotel, provides you with good breakfast and a bar next door with wood fired pizza. Great for access to fort William and Ben Nevis or general access to the highlands.
Great location close to lots of hiking spots and right across the highway from a scenic lake framed with mountains. Room was a bit small. Window shade came down when staff was showing us the room and they were unable to get maintenance to fix it during our 2 night stay. Staff were very nice. Food in the restaurant was great.
The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also good. There isn’t much else near the hotel other than the adjacent restaurant. We ordered pizza from the Red Shed (excellent) and brought it tot our room. The actual town is a bit of a walk away (we had already walked a section of the WHW that day so that wasn’t great for us). I would recommend that hikers that need supplies get off the bus at Ballachulish by the coop and then walk back to the hotel).
I want to be honest. The staff, Sabrina— Anna John could not have been nicer ! The food was good even a decent wine list.
😢😢But the bed was horrible so soft augmented with what felt like cheap foam . I had the worst night . And the chairs in the restaurant and bar have lost their support .
Even the best staff in the world ( and they were) can take responsibility for old tire furnishings
Excellent lodge. We had the signature room with the bathtub and had a great view over the lake.

Disliked: Staff & service
Perpetually understaffed. Seems to be an ongoing issue based on other reviews. One staff member running the restaurant and reception so you have to hunt them down to check in and then hope you can get a table. And then it's an extremely long wait to get any service. During my stay I witnessed other customers clearing tables to help the rushed and visibly stressed member of staff
The staff were welcoming and the service was great. The room was charming and spacious with a soaker tub and complimentary robes, coffee and tea. The lobby area lounge was beautiful.
