Nestled in the lush, tranquil Maritime Forest, this inviting 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath vacation home offers the perfect blend of modern coastal charm and serene island living. Step inside to discover an open-concept living and dining space, ideal for family gatherings or cozy evenings in. The well-equipped kitchen is a chef's dream, stocked with everything you need for memorable meals.
On the main floor, the primary suite awaits with a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring double sinks, a relaxing soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. Upstairs, a second living area provides a great space for kids' entertainment, complete with a pull-out sofa. Two additional bedrooms flank this space—one with a queen bed and bunk beds (sleeps 4), and the other with a queen bed and a daybed (sleeps 3)—each with its own detached bathroom and walk-in shower.
Outside, unwind on the back screened porch with a cup of coffee or evening cocktail as you take in the peaceful natural surroundings and views of the nearby golf course. Come Monday was great - very quiet street. Upstairs common room was popular hangout for younger generation. Screen porch was clean and bug free and great place to eat. Would def rent again!

Perfect House for us

We had the best week. Kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed. It was also our first time bringing over our old dog and the house was so accommodating. This house was the perfect layout and very cozy for our crew. We would definitely recommend and rent again.

Wedding on BHI

We stayed here for a weekend to attend a family wedding. The house was perfect for 3 couples. The furnishings were superb. I did notice that the kitchen floors could have used some attention in the corners with crumbs found. The back porch could use some cleaning and pressure washing. The golf carts provided need some maintenance since they did not want to hold a charge too long. I can not wait to come back.

Lovely home with good updates

This was a lovely home that fit the needs of our multigenerational family well. We (my spouse, young children, and in-laws) enjoyed our stay immensely. The home has clearly been recently updated and it shows. Kitchen was well-stocked, there were plenty of beach towels, sand buckets, etc. Both golf carts worked well although one is clearly older and not as fast as the other. We always love finding a gem of a dog-friendly property and we would certainly come back again!! Location is close enough to the market for all the quick trips my family seems to take to forgotten items or last minute ice cream needs. We got to meet the owner as we were leaving our last morning and that was lovely as well! Very friendly and conscientious!

The house is spacious and worked well for grooms men lunch and getting ready for photos Outdoor porches need pressure washing too many spiders Inside can use a thorough cleaning, live bugs running around and cobwebs in corners, dead bugs in showers and tubs Dishwasher did not work and one golf cart would not hold charge

Paradise in the woods

This place was perfect for our family reunion. Three full baths made everyone happy since nobody likes sharing a bathroom anymore. The screened in back porch was absolutely delightful. I lived out there playing my guitar. Lovely property.

Great stay

Come Monday is a great house. We spent a lot of time on the screened in back porch with the ceiling fans running. The house is situated in the maritime forest which makes it so quiet and peaceful. We saw deer, lots of legless lizards, and many birds. The two golf carts were great and had no issues.

Good taste, good vibes

A charming house, smartly designed and thoughtfully furnished. Great spaces for the two of us, an adult child taking grad school classes online and our golden retriever. We’ve to been to BHI before but haven’t stayed in the forest area. Come Monday was a great introduction!

Nice updated house on the golf course.

House sits at a great location on the island. Close to the bhi club, shops and the marina. Master bath and bedroom a great size. We sat in the back porch every evening to watch the painted bunting drain the bird feeder:). There is an alligator pond near by which is a plus. Would recommend staying at this house.
