Service was a bit haphazard due to being understaffed. Liam (Mansger?) seemed to be jack of all trades and helping out where possible. But disappointed at being called darling all the time by a member of reception staff. Bed very hard and pillows very hard too. Mentioned to Liam at checkout to be told that they have feather pillows! Nowhere in the room did it say that other pillows were available. Overall - very disappointing for the money (£180) but I’m guessing you are paying a premium to be near (ish) to Chatsworth.

Lovely comfortable stay , helpful staff , food and beverages excellent . Delightful and welcoming . Car park is tiny and a bit tight . So parking is an extra cost to consider , if you have to use the overnight / long term car park in Bakewell
