Check in was great, with a welcome glass of Port. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of options and very scenic views. Room was little dated and the area itself is secluded. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort.

The Breakfast was very good and fresh with plenty of options. Many types of pastries, fruits alternative milks. The front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Douro Valley. The rooms had incredible views of the River. Rooms were spacious but were dated,they need a refresh. Bed was comfortable though. The area was good but you definitely need a car to see the rest of the valley and vineyards.

A beautiful, clean hotel on the Douro Valley. Opening the balcony door in the morning, a fresh breeze greeted me, and the sound of roosters crowing in the distant mountains marked a beautiful start to the day. The room and bed were comfortable.
