A beautiful, clean hotel on the Douro Valley. Opening the balcony door in the morning, a fresh breeze greeted me, and the sound of roosters crowing in the distant mountains marked a beautiful start to the day. The room and bed were comfortable. The location is truly stunning. The view from the top floor and pool area is so spectacular. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was top quality and so much choice. Dinner was also excellent although pricy. The spa and pools were great as well. Overall the hotel is a great spot, some of the decor felt outdated and outdoors some repairs are needed. But we were very happy with our stay.
