This hotel has to be one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in. The room was big and luxurious, and the pool was one of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen. Plus it’s open a generous 24 hours. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant food was delicious. I’m so glad I decided to stay two nights instead of one. Highly recommend! This place is worth every penny!

Check in was great, with a welcome glass of Port. Breakfast was perfect every morning with plenty of options and very scenic views. Room was little dated and the area itself is secluded. If you’re looking for that, than this is the spot. The highlight of the trip in Douro was the wine tour about an hour away. Beautiful area beautiful resort.

The Breakfast was very good and fresh with plenty of options. Many types of pastries, fruits alternative milks. The front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Douro Valley. The rooms had incredible views of the River. Rooms were spacious but were dated, they need a refresh. Bed was comfortable though. The area was good but you definitely need a car to see the rest of the valley and vineyards.
