The location is beautiful, beachfront. The hotel is clean and so inviting. The food is delicious and hearty portions. Lovely pool, I didn't use the sauna/steam room and the jacuzzi wasn't in service. But I really have to give total credit to the staff for making our 5 day holiday amazing! Everyone...the restaurant staff, the housekeeping staff and reception were attentive, friendly and we actually felt like we'd been staying with family. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Had a lovely stay. Breakfast staff were attentive and very friendly. Breakfast was cooked to order and arrived quickly.The leisure suite is a bit tired (jacuzzi was out of action, and looked like it had been for a while) however, this did not detract from the overall relaxed vibe of a charming old hotel. We would stay again.

A lovely hotel right on the seafront with a beautiful view of the Isle of Arran from the dining room. We had two rooms for several days..comfy beds and relatively quiet but our outlook very poor in one of them which was a pity. The evening meals were very good and the staff attentive but breakfasts seemed pricey if not included. Swimming pool an added bonus. Location of hotel near to Ayr centre so good location

The staff were lovely and welcoming, and the location was perfect for our needs, but the hotel is tired and in need of soft renovations. Our room was absolutely massive and comfortable enough! We didn’t make use of any of the restaurant facilities or amenities, so cannot comment on them.
