Perfect location.

Hotel de Champoluc is the perfect place to stay for skiing. The piste and gondola are right outside the main entrance. The boot room is 2 minutes from the piste at the end of the day. The ski hire shop is underneath the hotel (equipment is brilliant). The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the food is of a high standard. We went at Easter and the snow was fantastic and the pistes were not crowded. There are some fast red runs and enjoyable blues. On the minus side, if you don't have a car there isn't much to do apres ski. Restaurants are plentiful but a little bit pricey. There's a comfortable bar opposite the hotel and one 50 yards along the other side which is nice if it's sunny. The pizzeria is fine in the main street but if you have a car go to Kraemar Thal restaurant in Antagnod (3-4 miles up the mountain). Superb pizzas and pasta dishes. We went twice and one night the owners of one of the mountain restaurants were there, which says all you need to know. Worth getting a cab up there and back. Three courses plus drinks was 18euros pp.

L'hotel si trova di fronte alla funivia, vicino a tutti i servizi che offre il paese. Ottima la gestione del personale sempre cortese e disponibile. Da ritornarci sicuramente!
