Once part of the historic Furley Estate, the grounds are a haven of peace and beauty. Guests are free to explore at their leisure, from wandering the open fields and wooded pathways to sitting quietly by one of two large ponds, watching the wildlife come and go. Down by the Duck Pond, a fire pit and picnic table offer the perfect setting for an impromptu barbecue, surrounded by nature. At the heart of the estate lies the Walled Garden, home to the beautiful Orangery. With space to dine and relax, it’s a lovely place to retreat with a book or share a drink with friends. Throughout the grounds, you’ll find benches and gazebos placed just where you’d want them, offering restful spots to take in the surrounding views. And when you’re ready to explore beyond, the charming market town of Axminster is just 5 miles away, with the dramatic Jurassic Coast and the seaside town of Lyme Regis only 11 miles beyond.
