Carolina House 80: Oceanfront, private hot tub & great views

Nothing could be finer than a stay at Carolina House, a quaint, oceanfront home that will charm you from the entry to the views.

Walk up the wooden boardwalk path and stairs, passing the small outdoor shower under the home, to the first-floor entry. On this level are several bedrooms and a full-size, front-loading, Samsung washer/dryer. Two of the four bedrooms on this floor have two twin beds each; one has a TV and a VCR. Down the hall, you'll find a third bedroom with a queen bed, a TV, and a DVD player, and a fourth with a queen bed and in-room access to the shared hallway bath.

Head up to the second floor to find an open floor plan with fresh paint and flooring. Three large, sliding glass windows frame ocean vistas, making it hard to remember what life was like back home. Enjoy the view from the dining table or pull up a seat at the small breakfast bar that peeks into the kitchen with granite countertops and subway tile backsplash. Soak it all in as you relax in the cozy great room with a TV and breathtaking beach scenes.

The queen bedroom on this level offers in-room access to a recently updated bathroom with a tub/shower that is shared with the living area. Speaking of new remodels, the oceanfront sundeck received one in 2023. While there, you can sink into Adirondack chairs with a cool beverage, and a hot tub around the corner on the upper-level deck. Afterward, go for a dip in the shared Club Hatteras pool

Stroll to the public boardwalk that borders the property, carrying you up and over the steep dune to the beach. Feel great about your choice to make Carolina House your home this year.
